We were warned what lawlessness looks like. Now we’re watching it unfold in real time.

This isn’t hypothetical anymore. We’re past policy debates and partisan spin. What we’re seeing is a coordinated assault on the core legal and democratic principles that once defined this country. And it's not happening in secret. It's happening right out in the open.

The Trump administration has crossed the line from governing to rule-breaking, and they’re daring anyone to stop them. They defy Supreme Court rulings. They falsify evidence. They strip away due process, detain people without trial, and deport individuals the courts have ordered protected. Then they pretend the Constitution no longer applies.

In March, over 250 men were secretly flown to El Salvador and imprisoned in CECOT—a notorious facility known for brutal conditions and little oversight. The Trump administration claimed they were all violent gang members, but Bloomberg investigations later revealed that 90% had no U.S. criminal record. There was no due process. No transparency. No accountability.

When the courts intervened, ordering the deportations to be stopped or reversed, the administration doubled down. President Bukele mocked the U.S. judiciary online. Trump allies like J.D. Vance and Marco Rubio not only stayed silent, they amplified the message.

This is not a bug in the system. It is the strategy.
